While walking the streets of Southeast Asia, our hearts were truly broken by the conditions people are living in. Young men, women and children are sold for as little as $3 for sexual encounters, families live in stilted shacks on landfills (dump), and the value of human life and morality is seemingly deteriorating . After returning home, and convicted to act against this injustice, we wanted to make a difference and contribute to the fight. Having a heart to raise awarenes, we decided to launch Speak Against Injustice, a Fair Trade apparel line dedicated to raising awareness of human trafficking and poverty through spoken messages and statistics on  fair trade t-shirts. In August of 2012, Speak Apparel merged with Vivente Coffee to become products of Fair Trade World.
